Character Before Comfort

It doesn't take much to manifest charisma. Some say you are either born with the energy of "glamour" or are simply doomed to an "ordinary" existence. Character, instead, is solely born from love-based effort. We cannot buy or bribe our way to a strong and vital root of ethics. No amount of money, high fashion, speak-easy reputation, beauty, superficial "magic-making", professional or social clout will help us "shimmer" with genuine and dynamic goodwill. Character is an intangibly primal power, refined from living intimately with obstacle destruction, faith and deep confidence in creating our righteous life. "Righteous" is personal and unique to each of us, but the prerequisite is honesty - with ourselves and the world around us. When we walk in integrity, choosing to work for our blessings over siphoning from the precious energy of others, we conquer the roots of laziness - low self-confidence, fear, and envy. The surface discomfort felt from going upstream soon becomes energizing humility. What we have to work with, however "meager" others judge our gifts to be, no longer incites limitation and despair. We grow full - ripening new paths - bearing good fruit from our own rhythm of empowered excellence.
