Unmade Freedom

There is a freedom that cannot be bought or sold through man-made means. The only "currency" we exchange to embody this unbound strength is devoted action in manifesting our purest aspirations. What I'm inspired by will not (should not!) be the same as what stokes you alive. The joy in this is that we can direct attention to our inner life, working from the inside-out, free of comparison, covetousness, false humility or pride. We do what brings us to a natural state of focus/healthy concentration. We engage what we are drawn to by an inner urge to succeed because we are better human beings for it - surpassing the short-term need to be "better than" so-and-so. We press forward because our life force brightens in the midst of hard-won lessons and the sweetest celebrations. Freedom of this caliber is beyond human limitations of identity, politics, history, familial structures, or the economy. It is a primal power, unending and expansive, extremely specific and rich with detail. Like our blood and breath, true freedom is uniquely suited to each of us - without compromise. We only need to claim it, free of all apologies, destroying all excuses.
